Gemini Syndrome
Gemini Syndrome
Gemini Syndrome is a collective of 5 musicians with one common focus: music. Originating from Los Angeles, CA in early 2010, the band has been converting listeners with their strong stage performances and cohesive content, filling a gap that has been lacking in contemporary, mainstream music.

Comprised of vocalist Aaron Nordstrom (former guitarist for OTEP), guitarists Rich Juzwick and Mike Salerno, bassist Alessandro Paveri, and drummer Brian Steele Medina (former TOIZ w/ Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch) the group has made a strong foothold on the local LA hard rock scene and has begun to make advances into the rest of the nation.

First opening shows on the legendary Sunset Strip with such known acts as Nonpoint, Murderdolls, and The Dreaming, Gemini Syndrome has been packing shows at the renowned Roxy Theater, blazing a path for other local talents. Building from the momentum of these local successes, Gemini Syndrome has continued converting new fans through regional shows and multiple national tours, including a coveted spot on Wayne Static’s Pighammer tour in Fall 2011. This natural progression of organically grown attention has enabled the band to consistently move forward and gain strong recognition.

Gemini Syndrome independently released their debut EP, «I», in late January, 2011. Produced by Mikey Doling (Snot, Soulfly, Channel Zero) this EP was the catalyst that led to their signing with Warner Bros. Records in late August 2011. Be on the lookout for Gemini Syndrome’s debut full length album in Spring 2012.

Dark Avenue
Dark Avenue
Sometimes things catch fire. Just ask Dark Avenue. Originally formed as a side project to the Dallas/Fort Worth heavyweight Pistol Whippin Ike, three of the members began writing alternate jams for fun – and the project instantly sparked a wildfire. In a short amount of time the band established a reputation in the DFW area, performed with acts like Pop Evil, Queensrÿche, Red Sun Rising, Bobaflex, 36 Crazyfists, and launched a successful crowdfunding campaign to finance their first recordings. With the release of their debut album Illusions, Dark Avenue have bridged the gap between metal and hard rock – and Texan crowds have been drawn to their fulgent flame.
Formed in 2014, Dark Avenue is comprised of guitarists Barry Lorberbaum and Andrew Lewthwaite, bassist Alan Sauls, drummer Jeff Hathcock and vocalist Mario Cadena. The band’s first recording was Seasons Change, a five-song EP whose title track was the catalyst that ignited regional interest. It spurred a showcase during SXSW/Austin Music Week and a development deal with Breakout Artist Management, who fostered their growth and transcended them beyond the Dallas scene.
“The scene in Dallas is super vibrant,” explains Lorberbaum. “But there wasn’t anyone bridging the gap between heavy bands and the lighter bands. The heavy music crowds stuck to their bands, and the alterative/hard rock fans stuck to theirs. You did not see any crossover fans. That gap is bridged with our music. The metal fans get their heavy, and the alt-rock fans get their more mainstream sound, and all get songs they can relate and sing along to.”
That middle ground between heavy and light is where the nexus of creativity lies for Illusions. In the center of a Killswitch Engage/Imagine Dragons Venn diagram, the first single “Outside” is colossal and robust, yet driven by dynamic and melodic vocals. Perhaps that’s why it’s been featured on several nationally televised MMA events. Then there’s the song "Una Vez Mas," the group’s first single in Spanish. Its overwhelming response prompted the band to track Spanish versions of their songs for a future deluxe release of Illusions. And let’s not forget the crowd favorite “Maybe Tomorrow.” It won Video of The Year at the 2016 Krave Music Awards and helped them take home the grand prize: Artist of The Year.
“I want people to leave listening to the album like they were right there with us,” says Cadena, “feeling what we were feeling, seeing what we were seeing, as if they were part of it.”
As Above / So Below
As Above / So Below
As Above / So Below was formed in late 2012 by ex members of the Dallas bands Faint The Fiction and The Suicide Hook and Wichita Falls bands Down-Stares and Roselawn. They are also joined by Drowning Pool guitarist Cj Pierce...This all star line up is currently Locked down in a Dallas studio with Cj Pierce at the helm producing/engineering their first full length album as a follow up to their EP "Year One" released last Christmas.

If you want to get and idea of what As Above / So Below is about then take a listen to the debut EP "Year One".

This Ep has a signature sound, full of super-catchy choruses, aggressive drumming with powerful fleeting rhythms and intricate and melodically precise vocals. Its an all around compelling vibe. It's a sound that gives the band that #1 rock single potential.

When looking behind the thick layers of melodies and radio--ready rock riffs you will find passionate and complex feelings and stories of struggle, betrayal and over coming.

That said, As Above / So Below has really raised the bar musically compared to previous projects they were a part of and this band is a well oiled machine!

These guys stand out in a sea of same and are defiantly a musical force to be reckoned with. You can expect to see them soon in a town near you. And be sure to keep an eye out for their first full length record coming out sometime in 2015.
